Who is Claudia Claire?

Claudia Claire was born in 1977, in what was then Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). She entered the adult film world in 2001 at the age of 24, quickly standing out for her expressive presence and magnetic on-screen intimacy. Over the next six years, she built a respected career with around 40 titles before retiring from acting in 2007.

During those years, she became the face of a classic: The Good Girl, the very first cinematic erotic film directed by Erika Lust, the project that launched the entire Lust Films universe and reshaped the conversation around ethical, feminist, female-led adult cinema. With The Good Girl, Claudia stepped into an iconic role that marked the beginning of something much bigger: a new vision of porn where storytelling, consent, and the female gaze take center stage.

In this 30-minute film, The Good Girl, Claudia plays Alex, a successful, “good girl” who has spent her life doing everything right, except listening to her own desires. After a late-night phone call with her adventurous friend Julie and an encounter with a charming pizza deliveryman, Alex finally lets her curiosity take over in this heterosexual feminist porn film.

The Good Girl won Best Short Film of the Year at the Barcelona Erotic Film Festival (FICEB 2005) and received global media attention. It also marked Erika Lust’s debut as a director that became a movement, and Claudia Claire was at the heart of it.
