Madison Young is a filmmaker, author, feminist pornographer and certified sex educator whose work focuses on the topics of feminism, kink, pornography, and sexuality. Young has presented at universities such as Yale University, UC Berkeley, Northwestern University and University of Toronto.
Young has been working as a director and performer in erotic film for the past 17 years and her films have been screened internationally at film festivals such as Cinekink and Berlin Porn Film Festival. Young has written and directed 45 erotic films which have garnered numerous AVN and XBiz nominations and six Feminist Porn Awards.
Young's memoir, Daddy, was published in February 2014 through Rare Bird Lit followed by The DIY Porn Handbook: Documenting Our Sexual Revolution(Greenery Press) and The Ultimate Guide to Sex Through Pregnancy and Motherhood (Cleis Press) which were released in 2016.
Young has been featured for her expertise in sex-positive culture on such media outlets as BravoTV, Fusion TV, Huffington Post, Salon, the New York Times, BBC, The Guardian UK, Viceland’s Slutever and HBO. Young is a feature writer for such publications as Cosmopolitan Magazine, Romper, Bustle, Glamour and Playboy.
Young is currently on tour with her one woman show Reveal All Fear Nothing: A Journey in Sex, Love, Porn and Feminism, a modern adaptation of Annie Sprinkle’s Post Porn Modernist and producing a new sex positive docu-series television show.
