Who is Carla Finco?
Carla Finco is a filmmaker, photographer, and creative producer whose work explores the intersections of eroticism, grief, and female sexuality. Selected as a talent for the Biennial of Young Art Buenos Aires in 2017 and Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires in 2020, she represents a new generation of artists using intimacy as a form of resistance.
Now based in Barcelona, Carla holds a key creative role at ERIKALUST, where she works as Creative Producer and Assistant Director, using ethical porn cinema to question and expand how pleasure is represented. Her artistic vision embraces diversity, sensuality, and the emotional complexity of desire. Through her work, she seeks to educate, include, and challenge social perceptions of erotism.
She is currently developing her first feature film, My Revolution, and its companion short, Carla continues to refine her deeply personal approach to filmmaking. These works examine the relationship between erotic awakening and mourning, following a woman who rediscovers her sexuality through the experience of the loss of her mother. Desire and grief coexist, intertwining as part of the same journey toward self-understanding.
Carla merges photography and film in an ongoing dialogue about bodies, pleasure, and identity. By interviewing women and documenting their stories, she invites reflection on what it means to be a sexual subject and to reclaim joy and intimacy in the process.

Carla Finco’s artistic sensitivity shines in the lesbian porn movie Brush Me Softly, a minimalist and sensual piece where hair becomes a language of touch and desire. What begins with a gentle brushstroke transforms into a ritual of tenderness between two women, an ode to texture, patience, and the sacred intimacy of sensation.
Her collaborative spirit continues in the co-directed series The Art of Anal, created with Rebecca Stewart and Florence Bark. This series reimagines anal play as an act of care and curiosity.
